NARRO NOT RUSHING INTO MUSIC

"I am not in a rush, not trying to be like any other reggae-dancehall act," said Narro Di Brave One, or simply Narro.
The emerging artiste said that he has a working plan to get his name on the map. While he lists artistes like Vybz Kartel, who is known for flooding the airwaves with several tracks, as a major influence and role model, Narro does not intend to do the same with his music.

Jamel Anglin is a Jamaican, Dancehall and Reggae artiste, more popularly known as Narro Di Braveone or simply Narro. Narro started his career, owning his musical skills, by toasting on New Foundation; a popular sound system in his community of Lindos Gap road. The young MC spent several years under the tutelage of veteran sound system operators, producers, and other established artists.
In 2011, Narro made his debut with the release of Ghetto Youths; a ballad narrating the corrupt and harsh lifestyle associated with gang involvement in inner-city politics. The song also cautions the younger generation, as sort of a deterrent from involving in criminal activities. In 2018 he released Poverty, a honest interpretation and narration of poverty and it effects on Inner-city life. The song garnered support and rave reviews from radio disc-jocks and critics alike. This small buzz created a platform for Narro to display his talent, and in the summer of 2019 he performed live on Smile Jamaica, Television Jamaica’s premiere morning program. He also became a Summer Sizzle Winner that same year.
By late 2019, Narro was beginning to deviate from his so called “conscious records”, with the release of Brave N Solid, his second release under Ice Cold Records. The new-school-type dancehall song, fuses smooth melodies and catchy punchlines, with witty puns and metaphors; displaying Narro’s versatility as an artist.
Narro began to develop an even bigger buzz when DJ Rodrick and DJ Raff of Hitz92 Fm, started playing his single Slow Motion. The song was added to the stations rotation roster and was getting frequent plays; this paved the way for Narro to establish his international presence.
Narro as also released several singles including: Mek Outta, A You Alone, Need You, and Success; among others. Narro as worked with several reputed producers, including Grammy winning producer DreDay Production and Sos Dynamikz, TrackStarr; and Frenz For Real.
Narro as spent over a decade developing and perfecting his unique style and sound. His musical influences includes some of dancehall’s mega-stars such as: Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Aidonia, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer.
Narro is currently working on various collaborations with several established artist/producers, with the intent of making an indelible mark on the music industry. He is poised to take the industry by storm. Narro is set to release Still A Win within Fall 2021. The song, which is produced by Sos Dynamikz and mixed by Dre Day Productions, promises to be "enchantingly entertaining", according to critics. Narro is currently working on his musical catalog, with 2021 being designated by him as "his year".
